June this year marks the 25th national Work Safety Month, themed Identify, Investigate and Rectify Risks and Hidden Dangers. Different from previous years, this year’s theme has been upgraded from "Spot Safety Hazards Around You" to "Identify, Investigate and Rectify Risks and Hidden Dangers". It requires a shift from merely discovering problems to thoroughly resolving them, so as to form a closed-loop management covering the whole chain of risk control and hidden danger rectification. Meanwhile, this year serves as a pivotal year connecting the preceding and following phases of the three-year campaign to tackle fundamental issues in work safety.

To thoroughly implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important expositions on work safety, fulfill the enterprise’s primary responsibility and earnestly enforce work safety responsibilities at all levels, Zhongjiu Flash convened the kick-off meeting for the 2026 Work Safety Month together with the thematic publicity event for World Environment Day on June 5, with all staff in attendance.

He Xintan, General Manager of Zhongjiu Flash, pointed out in his speech that work safety and ecological environmental protection are two non-negotiable red lines for enterprise development that must be upheld simultaneously. Citing recurring problems found in inspections over the past year, including fire extinguishers being blocked, non-standard gas cylinder management, random storage of hazardous chemicals, and blocked evacuation routes, he elaborated on the hazards stemming from weak safety awareness and fluke mentality among some employees.

He stressed that the Work Safety Month should be taken as an opportunity to carry out full-coverage safety inspections. Ledgers must be established for all identified hidden dangers, and rectification shall be conducted in strict accordance with closed-loop procedures. Severe penalties will be imposed on repeated violations that fail to be corrected despite repeated warnings. In addition, management staff shall take the lead in fulfilling contracted safety accountability duties, and frontline employees shall abide by the principle of "Everyone pays attention to safety and everyone can respond to emergencies". Employees are encouraged to proactively report hidden dangers, and verified reports will be rewarded in line with relevant regulations.

During the event, all participants watched a warning education film themed on Work Safety Month and took part in an on-site safety knowledge quiz with prizes. Attendees unanimously stated that the event had further boosted their safety awareness and emergency response capabilities. They will strictly follow safety protocols at work and jointly safeguard the bottom line of work safety and the red line of ecological and environmental protection.
