On March 3rd, Xu Bin, the Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Provincial Health Commission, led a delegation to Zhongjiu Flashlight Medical Technology Co., Ltd. in Youxian District, Mianyang City, to investigate the research and development progress of FLASH radiotherapy devices. Zheng Zhiheng, member of the Standing Committee of the Mianyang Municipal Committee, Minister of Publicity, and Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions, accompanied the survey team.

During the visit to Zhongjiu Flashlight Medical Technology Co., Ltd., the delegation listened to presentations on the company's key core products, toured the exhibition hall and workshop, and gained an in-depth understanding of the latest developments and future plans for the e-Flash and x-Flash radiotherapy devices.

Xu Bin noted that Mianyang is at the global forefront in the research and development of FLASH radiotherapy technology, and the achievements made are inspiring and encouraging. He emphasized three key points: First, to strengthen policy support by incorporating FLASH radiotherapy technology into the province's "15th Five-Year Plan" for the development of the medical and pharmaceutical industry, and to promote FLASH radiotherapy technology to capture new international high grounds in radiotherapy. Second, to increase publicity and promotion by collaborating with leading talents and teams, actively participating in large-scale industry expos and supply-demand docking activities across the province, and holding clinical trial launch events to further enhance the domestic and international influence and visibility of FLASH radiotherapy. Third, to accelerate the radiation environmental assessment and pre-evaluation of radiological health for the e-Flash radiotherapy device in accordance with laws and regulations, and to expedite its entry into clinical trials. At the same time, to advance the type inspection and preclinical trial preparations for the x-Flash radiotherapy device, and to speed up the transition of FLASH radiotherapy research results into clinical trials.
